Clinton Tang

Clinton is dedicated to advocating for both employees and small employers throughout British Columbia. With a strong foundation in employment law, he specializes in wrongful dismissal claims, advising clients on their rights during termination, and guiding them through the complexities of the employment landscape. On the employer side, Clinton excels in drafting and negotiating employment contracts and developing strategies for addressing challenging workplace situations. His experience includes appearances in the British Columbia Provincial and Supreme Courts, as well as various administrative tribunals. Clinton possesses professional working proficiency in Spanish.

 

As an associate at Yeager Employment Law, Clinton brings a wealth of experience to the firm. He began his legal career as a legal administrative assistant at a full-service firm before transitioning to a boutique solicitors' practice. Prior to joining Yeager, Clinton completed his articles at a large, regional law firm, where he gained comprehensive experience advising clients at all stages of the employment process.

 

Clinton received his law degree from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2022. During his time at law school, he was actively involved in the Allard Law Student Society, serving on the Wellness Committee and Social Council to promote mental health initiatives and networking events. He also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and served as a peer tutor. Clinton achieved various awards in law school, including the McLean-McCuaig Foundation Prize in Property Law, the Harper Grey LLP Prize in Insurance Law, the Trial Lawyers Association of BC Prize in Civil Litigation, the Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP A.J. McClean Prize in Trusts, and the Lawson Lundell Prize in Administrative Law.

 

Outside of work, Clinton is an avid traveler and aviation enthusiast. He has explored over 27 countries across six continents, flying on his favourite aircrafts, and looks forward to continuing his adventures and embracing diverse cultures.
